Over the past three years or so, I stayed around eight times at the Residence Inn in Bahrain. After an egregiously unacceptable breakfast experience a few months ago, I stopped staying there. However, their welcome gift was always a lovely variety of cut fruit along with a welcome note from the front office manager.
