I am looking to book for next Autumn and the flights are around $1000 cheaper through Expedia than AA direct. It's Business class on mostly AA metal.

A few questions for the resident AA experts that I would appreciate some guidance on-

1. AA has a refund to credit voucher option. My flight is still 9 months out, say if the flight drops in price can I cancel to a voucher and book new ticket without any charges?
2. Any credit on the voucher is valid for 1 year from the date I cancel or from the date of the ticket issue date?
3. AA operator was trying to find me the multi city flights (as the option online doesn't work) and we couldn't find the fare that Expedia was offering. She said to book via Expedia and get AA to take over the booking for $50pp and then if I can't travel I could still refund to a voucher. Is that correct?
