Quick update. Landed in GRU from IAD on UA. Connection counter for LATAM outside of duty free in terminal 3 told us we need to check our bags in terminal 2. Was not clear if it was because it was on separate ticket. Went to second floor to the walkway.

Walked past bunch of restaurants, shops, and also Urban Cowork lounge. Got our checked luggage tags at LATAM counter but they would not let us drop off our bags until 4 hours before the flight.

Headed to small land side plaza premium lounge. Assumed we could shower, have coffee, and get some work done: Amex lounge website explicitly said it has showers.

We checked in and then discovered how tiny it actually is and then was told no showers exist here.

Going to stay an hour and then drop off our bags at LATAM and then head to urban cowork lounge to see if they have showers.
