I tipped a few bucks if the service was really good (like the staff coming to us with a bunch of free food or spending time talking to us after dinner, etc) but yeah there's no expectation. I've primarily tipped in USD to the butler but have done Euro 1x i think when I only had Euros left. One time we also took out USD to tip from the front desk and they just charged it to our folio.
