I booked this property with points, although the cash price wasn’t bad during the week. As it was a new property, I booked two nights first, so that if the property didn’t work out, I could switch to the DT Cikini. We did see a number of former staff at the Diponegoro DT, and even from the Hilton Bandung. The property seems a bit more compressed in size, with a smaller lobby. Still only 2 elevators to the guest rooms.

We were lucky enough to be offered a complimentary King Deluxe suite upgrade for our Sunday-Friday award booking. The weekend is pretty busy, and with only 5 suites it’s quite difficult to get one. The room is about 56 square meters. 1.5 bath. Sofabed in the living room. Tub, shower and toilet in the main bathroom, with a switch activated opaque wall.
