Right now JAL and Airbus are currently on track for having 9 A350Ks entering JAL's fleet before the end of the 2024 fiscal year. I hope that whatever is delaying JA07 will be finalised soon, so that it can also join the fleet. But, who wants to be a betting man on JA09 entering service before JA07?
Considering that JAL has been had it in their slides for investor day that they are getting 8 in FY24, I doubt very much they plan to shift the capex now. Since the aircraft was re-registered from F-WZFT to JA07WJ, JAL has now taken ownership of 8 aircraft.
I'll be a betting man and say F-WZFS will not become JA09WJ before April.
