(Unsure if this is a BA or a Qatar thing, apologies if it's in the wrong place.)

Looking to book a return flight from LHR to BKK, via DOH, business class, booking via the BA app/website. However, one of the options I'm considering lists fare class Y for business for the return BKK - DOH leg with QR.

My understanding was Y was an economy seat. Am I being charged business-class prices for an economy-class seat by QR? Is this a bug at BA's end, or does Y-class mean something different in Qatar?

Seemingly I can't attach an image since I'm new, but flight details state "Business (Y), First (J)", and since J is usually a business class fare, it sounds like they still have business seats available, so it's doesn't sound like they're bunging me in economy because they're out of room?
