A short Scoot review

We flew SIN-BKK on Scoot, scheduled on a 787-8. Our flight was supposed to leave at 12:40, but after we got into the terminal area, our flight was listed on all the boards as 15:40. We were confused as all hell. We asked at the information desk, and they stated it was delayed, and proceeded to give us a meal voucher to be used at Burger King or Subway.

This was so weird to us, as in the States, if a flight is delayed it says "delayed" on the board, the time just does not change. Also, I can't think of ever getting a meal voucher for a 2 hour delay on a US airline.

Also, we never got an email notice of the time change. And if we had not just been generally confused, and not asked at the desk there was no way we would have known about the meal voucher.

Anyways, time to leave, and my seat was ok, we paid for bulkhead in Soot in Silence, but my wife's was wrong, but it was quickly fixed at the gate. We were up gauged to a 787-9 from the 8. The plane was pretty empty. As we were in the boarding area, we were each offered a to-go bag with a bottle of water, some chips and a dessert. This is freaking awesome, US airlines should do this. There is no need for service on such short flight.

Anyways, the seats were fine, Scoot in Silence is a unique marketing stunt, but you can hear babies crying in the front of the plane.

I liked my Scoot ride, I would recommend
