Hey there, I have one Choice Benefit as a Platinum from this year. I will be dropping to Gold on 2/1/25.
Did a search on delta's upgrades FAQ and wow a blizzard of info so just gave up. Two questions:
If I choose the four RUCs, does my status have to be Platinum at time of travel?
Do the RUCs expire on 2/1/25? Or later? I seem to remember some issues with this but haven't been travelling for a while.

It should say on the benefit selection page when the RUCs would expire, and based on since you are dropping to gold soon, the RUCs would expire 1/31/25 when your platinum downgrades. Unless you have travel planned soon where you can use them something like the miles that don’t expire would be a better choice.
