I most of the time need that shower because I'm connecting from/to long flights, but some people just want to do the experience. Maybe they should put a limit to the shower eligibility and exclude those with flight to/from IST under 3.5 hours. It is weird how many people want to shower in IST, never experienced that at CDG, AMS, JFK, ATL, LAX, MIA, DTW etc.
I'd like a shower after a long haul flight because I usually sleep much better for my shorter flight back to CPH (I try to shower anywhere but my home because in many municipalities in Denmark they turned down the water pressure to save water - somehow they encourage people to drive their cars once a week to a car wash. Therefore, it takes forever to wet my hair properly and there is nothing I can do about it and the showeing experience is not nice at all). The lounge was overcrowded when we were there in October and on the way out there were like 8 people in front of me queuing for a shower. There are actually fewer people outside the lounge than inside the lounge when we were there last time at 11pm..
