you don’t get your account suspended if you dispute an erroneous charge. While it happens rarely, I had to do this a few time in the past decades and nerve any issues either with the dispute or my accounts.
In Denmark and Sweden, when I was disputing with my CC issuer I only had the option to get a full refund. The problem with this is that the hotel would see that I haven't settled the bill upon check-out.
