For me as well. I have even traveled from Amsterdam to Sicilia (30 hours !) which was more comfortable than a two hour flight despite the long duration.
And when traveling (yes by air) to another continent (e.g. Australia) and want to travel locally I prefer trains when possible. A few years ago I took Greyhound bus from SYD to BNE, a comfortable 14 hour overnight ride and rented a car there. Rather than flying or driving all the way.
