Yes, CX should have figured this out by now but remember that the vast majority of business travellers don't book this far in advance; the overwhelming majority of premium bookings happen within a month of travel.

And as an O&D traveller, you hardly have any choice if F is the driving factor, what JL offers is irrelevant. No sane person is going to take a one-stop over a nonstop flight, particulairly a route with 5 services a day, including (and especially) the people who pay for F on this route.
Why would they not? No sane person would subject themselves to a lesser airline if they can fly a proper one (not that I am saying CX is lesser than JL but just painting broad strokes since thats what we seem to be doing).
