Yikes! We had that a couple of years go. When I had it fixed I asked the roofers to use a strong bond, given it was the end of a ridge line and more exposed to the wind. Seems they used the cement equivalent of superglue since it is holding strong.

PS I trust the neighbours are not the type to sue due to the ‘emotional stress’.
