I have both my bags be carry-on so as to save the fee - although a lot of times on the LHR-MSY route (this particular flight will be MSY-LHR5-WAW), I'm told I must check luggage (but am not charged for it), I have the number of packets that came with the original purchase, so if someone says I can only have so many I'll ask how many can I take?
