Traveling on a RTW ticket issued by a different carrier, but flying NYC-AKL-MEL on NZ with no stopover in AKL (ie, less than 24h). I know that if I had purchased a NYC-MEL ticket from NZ, NZ would provide AP/SP for NYC-MEL, rather than the sum of NYC-AKL + AKL-MEL, which would be greater. Am I correct to assume that on non-NZ ticket stock, I will earn the sum of NYC-AKL-MEL rather than the NYC-MEL, which NZ doesn’t provide on the AP calculator?
