What are the exact amounts that we are talking about?
From the link in the original post:
  • for domestic flights (including overseas departments), intra-EU flights and flights within the EEA, the amount collected in respect of the solidarity tax on airline tickets has been increased from €2.63 to €9.5 for the Economy and Premium cabins and from €20.27 to €30 for the Business cabin.
  • for other flights of less than 5,500 km, it has increased from €7.51 to €15 for the Economy and Premium cabins and from €63.07 to €80 for the Business and La Première cabins.
  • for all flights over 5500 km, the amount collected has increased from €7.51 to €40 for the Economy and Premium cabins and from €63.07 to €120 for the Business and La Première cabins.
If they sold a lot of tickets since October 24th (especially long haul business/first) it could be a nice amount of unexpected profit if not a lot of people request the refund.
