As said, from a certain point in the booking process your booking is created and the seats are taken out of the pool of available seats. If payment is not made within a certain amount of time the seats are released, booking deleted - unfortunately not guaranteeing that the original price will be available afterwards. It could be, but that's not guaranteed. If you want the booking to be ticketed, call in asap to have them deduct the miles and issue the tickets.
