I am striving toward Million Miler membership (seems unlikely in my current job), so I let my spouse redeem my miles when we travel. And she earns redeemable miles (RDM) from UA credit cards.

Others who are chasing Premier Qualifying Point (PQP) accrual might do the same.

In this very common scenario, Premier members are unlikely to be happy that their spouse or companion has to sit in E- while they stretch out in E+.

This is a simple, limited fix to that common situation, enhancing Premier membership and UA credit card utility.
