Not sure that that is correct: Last year I was picked up from a delayed aircraft at the SEA S gates to get me to my connection at the A gates that was done boarding and ready to leave. The Porsche driver said something to the effect of "we wanted to make sure that you made your connection". Indeed, I most likely would not have made the connection if it had not been for the Porsche pickup.
