I'm wondering what the current policy is (years ago maybe some of you remember there was an "FFCC" status) when you've ticketed an international award in business class but the domestic leg to the intl. flight is seated in economy?
Does the passenger appear on any upgrade waitlist or have any privileges to try for the F domestic seat?

In theory, the passenger may be able to waitlist, but the chances of clearing off of that waitlist are rather low, and we're seeing increasing numbers of refusals by agents to put someone on the waitlist in the first place.
