For anyone who still needs this, call Delta directly. Not the gift card service. This may not be the case for everyone BUT I recently bought a Gift card and I only used partial. Then I checked the balance again online using the same link they initially sent me and the balance showed $0. I was devastated thinking someone somehow fraudulently used the rest of my gift card. So I called the gift card service number and they confirmed that on their end it showed $0 balance. The representative told me to call Delta directly at 800-221-1212 so they can see the history and give me a refund. So I called Delta but the delta representative stated she did in fact see the remaining balance still available. It’s just that once you use partial amount, a new gift card number is created. So she gave me the new gc#. I guess every time you use an e-gift card, if there is still a remaining balance then call Delta to give you the new gc# to use the remaining balance.
