This is the day before Storm Darragh but there have been a series of weather fronts with tight isobars, meaning that it's windy in places but not too bad at LHR, at least during daytime. The two cancellations above were from the AMS version of HADACAB, hence why it's just the two. Disruption for LHR is very much on the cards later on, so if travelling shorthaul on Saturday I would be checking reservations around 16 or 17 hrs Friday. I will provide an update (but perhaps later on, since I'm also travelling). See also this thread:

Quite a busy day for LHR, some ski routes open this weekend, 672 departures of which 340. Timekeeping so far is so-so. I don't have any ATC reports yet, just HAL saying there will be cancellations over the weekend with winds going way over operational limits late on Friday and into Saturday.
