Even if the SSCI machines are on, and you can tag your bag (not sure about this in MAD), you definitely can’t drop them off. Those machines only serve to checkin and maybe print tags, but they don’t accept bags. You would still need to bring them to a staffed desk - which won’t be staffed until 4am.
