Bear in mind that you do not need a UA branded card to earn UA miles. You can open a Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred or INK Preferred card to earn Ultimate Rewards points which can be transferred to UA. Once you have one of those cards, you can also transfer points earned with various free Chase cards such as Freedom, INK Cash, INK Unlimited.
