This is all music to my ears being a regular traveller to Fiji and is greatly simplifying route selection and ticketing. In the past I would always have to factor in several days en route to allow for delays and potential missed connections. This time I have an itinerary all on the same PNR - oh joy! A pause here for reflection, I remember my first flight to Nan was on a Super VC10 via JFK (I think!) LAX and HNL. Over the Pacific we hit a big "speed bump" while I was fast asleep and belted in. I woke up to pandemonium with one pax having to leave the flight at HNL with a dislocated shoulder. Plus ça change!
