Yesterday I got an email from Aeromexico saying that I was selected to download and test their new app AMX 2.0. I regularly travel from Spain to Mexico in Aeromexico

I am delighted to say that the new app works MUCH much better than the old one and most importantly now the benefit tiers get automatically recognized in the app. I was able to upgrade from Basic tariff to Premium Eco (as I am platinum) within the app at no extra cost. The same goes for luggage, all perks of your tier are now recognized in the app. Applies for international flights and domestic

This is a huge improvement for me as I dont have to call or go to the checkin desk anymore to discuss my platinum perks. Well done AM! (and Skyteam), hope it rolls out soon to the general public.
