For a meal go up through the train station to the other side of the railway and their are a large number of restaurants to choose from-most are quite reasonable.Able to get suikiyaki for 1100 yen-but look in side streets for this.
Thanks for the info. ^ Reason I mention using the taxi is if I miss the bus from/to the airport/town. First time staying in Narita in, oh, about 10 years. Always go into Tokyo. I like to shop in department store food courts and pick up sashimi, tempura, yakitori, unagi and musubi and wash it down with a couple of bottles of Asahi Super Dry in the room.
