I am 25K and an Amex Reserve cardholder. My spouse has no status but also has the Aeroplan Reserve. The way Im reading this is we would both be unable to bring a carryon if we are on Basic fare but I would continue to have 2 free checked bags and her one. Looks like its Standard for us from now on
