From the list of things you never knew you wanted, and probably still don't now you know it exists, I present the GlocalMe UniCord, a combined USB-C charging cable and 4G Router/Wifi device. All for only $30 (or S$40 if you buy it from the Singapore Airlines in-flight duty free which is where I first saw it) - https://www.glocalme.com/product/unicord/

I am amazed they managed to get all of this into a $30 device, but I'm presuming it's a loss-leader for their service, and thus likely hard-coded to not work with any other SIMs/mobile providers/etc.
