Depending on how luxurious you want, Relais Christine and Pavilon de la Reine and to a lesser extent L'Esprit St Germain is what I was going to suggest.

I have stayed at both and posted this on this thread in August:

They are very similar, and location needs probably dictates which one to choose. I was in a rut staying in St. Germain and went with P de la Reine last time and loved it so am going back there my next trip.

I think breakfast at Relais Christine is slightly better. The honor bar at P de la Reine is great, but it's a much smaller room than at RC so can be hard to get a seat at certain times.

You really can't go wrong with either place so maybe location convenience may be the key. If going in the late spring/summer/fall, having Place des Vosges out the front door is a big differentiator for me. In the winter/early spring, might as well go with RC.
