I agree; however if one was not in J, a 5h tcon that becomes an 8h tcon would leave someone quite hungry on the other side.

Also, of note, the email said MLV would be added to my boarding pass, but the boarding pass in-app did not reflect it. I'm sure it has something to do with the flight being finalized, but it does seem to be an error to send the email at all.
