If I get upto 39 nights, will I have 19 nights roll over to next year? And will those 19 nights count toward tier awards? I'm thinking 19 rollover nights might be more valuable than the suite upgrades / club benefit (since I already have it). If I can start 19 nights then that makes Diamond re-qualifying next year a lot more doable.
I'd go for 40. Then trigger the Lounge Pass early in 2025 to extend you to 2026.
I'd expect you will be offered a targeted promotion early in 2025 to re requalify as Diamond.
I have only managed 23 nights in 2024 so will not make Diamond/Spire for the first time in many years. TBH - not greatly bothered as I mostly stay at IC's and have a Lounge Pass. I'm not keen on most CP/HI breakfasts so no great loss. Indeed likely to be IHG's loss as we now have Friends & Family rate at Hilton group. At a few of our regular no IC locations I have only used IHG hotels over Hilton because of status
