You mention that the tier points carried over to the transition year excluded the tier points added after the end of the collection year end. You should receive an additional credit approximately one month after the first adjustment, which should pick up the tier points from that last journey. Depending on your travel plans, you might want to wait for that to happen (which I think should then give you status for this year, and next year).
