I don't use the email for anything time sensitive. I always call - and for space release bookings or GUF bookings into specific fare buckets it has been a while since they haven't been able to do it there and then on the phone.
The caveat here is that I always call during the UK call centre hours. If I'm at a time where I'm diverted to India I just hang up and wait it out until the UK one opens - the Indian centre used to be pretty good for the most part, but past year or two they've become next to useless.
The last few times i called, day and night from either europe and the US I am
diverted to the India Center. I wonder if its because i use the USA phone?
