As I've said many times, SFO has gone from one of the worst big domestic airports when I arrived here (1989) to arguably the best. I can't think of any airport that has such a variety of good, local restaurants. The concourses now range from okay (C and F) to really nice (the rest). There are outdoor viewing spots (airside at the end of G; landside at D). Art exhibits everywhere, and an aviation museum (landside in A, near security).
All of the above cut against waiting in line for a lounge, even though The Club is a good one.
