I’m desperately in need of a massive tier point run, and as I have a California holiday planned in January, I thought I would split my flights into segments (transfer on the east coast), start in Dublin etc. etc. Business Class is beyond my meagre means - at least across the Atlantic, so I’m looking at Premium Economy options. This is obviously not available on short haul journeys such as DUB-LHR, so it “downgrades” me to Economy. I would, however, like my DUB-LHR and LHR-DUB to be Business Class (as well as an LAX-SFO hop in the AA equivalent), but it doesn’t give me the option. Is it even possible, or will I have to either create individual bookings with all the risks involved or maybe call someone?
