I promised to feed back on the F experience so here it is:

We sat in 1A and 2A for the private aisle experience. Seats comfortably huge and a fair bit more padded than their J counterparts. Screen bigger and more responsive, although still slow. Didn’t really try to sleep much as I had a connecting qsuite flight and I wanted to maximise my wine list exploration! The 3 or so hours I did sleep were very comfortable.

Got a bigger amenity kit with 3 fragrances rather than 1 which was nice. Same pyjamas. Bathroom big and pretty nice, if I’m not mistaken 1A and 2A effectively have a private bathroom.

Dining was good. We buddy dined using the ottoman which was nice, though the table is a little small for it. Caviar was excellent and I confirmed its beluga. I had the chicken machboos which was only ok, had a better main on my subsequent J flight in Qsuites. Wine list impressive.

The pier in HKG was nice although the best dish was by far the Dan Dan mien available in J anyway. I paid using Avios so shouldn’t have had access to Al Safwa in DOH but I must have made a good impression on the desk agent as they let us in anyway.

overall well worth 34k Avios PP as an upgrade IMO, assuming you like caviar and drink. Otherwise skip as I don’t think the hard-product alone suffices.
