Purchased a flight using a reservation credit that charged an extra $8.40 to Business Plat:

Trying again with a larger amount ~40 will try to remember update once the credit posts, but if this works should be pretty easy to capture these credits for future flights since the cancellation policy changed in May. Just find the cheapest possible flight you can find and cancel it after the 24 hours for the reservation credit then top up your credit amount with whatever amount seems to work

Seems like this is pretty reliable at the moment, I maxed out the credit this year for the first time since normally its just set to this for the 35% bonus through amex travel
