In case anyone is tempted to splurge $500 for a United MileagePlus Infinite card from Chase, to gain access to Star Alliance lounges globally, please be advised that it is official policy from Thai Airways that they do not honor this card. I have twice been refused entry to Thai Airways lounges and today they showed me their policy documents. This is contrary to direct assurances from United customer service.
