You must be a citizen or national of the following countries to be eligible to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA).

Indonesia not being on the list of approved passports kind of makes this a moot subject. You should probably make the reservation in the name as described above but only once a visa has been approved.... keeping in mind an appointment at the Embassy will be necessary and it may take time with no guarantee a visa will be issued, you should consider either making fully refundable reservations or waiting until the visa has been granted before making a reservation. This advice is also made on the US CBP website.
