Im flying from DXB to DOH in economy doing a 12 hour layover and then flying on a seperate ticket in first from DOH to AUH in first (this is to meet up with my family as we journey together to AUH).

Can i stay airside (to meet my family) with my seperate ticket, or do i need to exit first, if airside i guess i can use the Al Safwa lounge.

I'm going to exit the airport to stay in a hotel, but wondering if my seperate ticket will help me with immigration on the way out? (family are arriving in J and flying in first on the same flight as me later)

Also would i be able to check my lugguage in for my DOH to AUH flight 12 hours early (or i guess i could even ask at DXB for them to check my lugguage through).

Anyway any tips on how to optimize this transite would be welcome.
