I've found GE at LAX to be consistently fast. I think clearing TSA at one of the downline terminals (whether T4/5/6) is usually faster than TBIT. The longest part of the layover will likely be waiting for bags, hence having them tagged and dropping them at TBIT is probably most important. Alaska also just moved the checkin cutoff to 50mins (boo).
Super helpful, thank you. We will try it and also have a backup plan in mind. Can also make adjustments from the SQ flight if it looks like we won’t arrive on time.
