Just an update which might help someone in the future. ANAs website doesn't always allow you to enter your FF number if its on any airline other than ANA (this according to the CSR in the Philippines I spoke with yesterday, who was incredibly kind and helpful). I was trying to enter my United Mileage Plus number, but it kept failing and giving all sorts of error messages. The CSR was actually able to insert the number into the reservation and I refreshed and it was there.
