Recent connection in DFW on the way back from PVR. Flight was due in at 718pm and outbound flight at 843, so somewhat tight but doable with GE and no checked bags. Switched flights a couple days before as it Was $250 worth of flight credits per person.

landed at 651pm, so thought no problem. 30 min wait in the penalty box because of the gate being occupied, so hit the gate at 728. Wife was in row 24 so not off the plane until almost 740, and we were at D3 so a really long way to immigration. Luckily no one in GE, no bags to collect, but D30 PreCheck closed so had to use the regular security line. Took maybe 5 minutes, then outbound flight leaving from C17, so about a long a sky train ride as you can get.

even with all that, made it onto the flight by 820 as they were boarding group 4.

so 40 minutes from off the plane in D, immigration/customs/security and skytrain to C. A bit of a scramble but worth it…
