The thing is these are small islands, and the forecasts gives you a range of cities which will never be accurate in the Maldives. As per the forecasts, it could say it's raining, but on the island itself it's nice and sunny.

Those are my 2 cents after travelling 9 times to the Maldives (4 of which at the St. Regis).
