As a recent first time visitor to HKG who stayed at the HI Express Causewaybay, I would echo the comments of others about taking the bus. The overall journey time is around 1hr. The walk to the hotel is around 5-10 mins. On the way back to the airport I took the taxi to Hong Kong Station and the AirPort Express train.
