Nighttime Asia to central Europe flights are completely in the dark. Sunrise isn't until after 8 in the morning and it gets dark at 16h.

More interesting are the evening flights ex-EU to China on the mainland carriers, you "catch" the next day and see the Ural mountains and thé frosty deserts and vast tundra of Siberia.
