Opposite situation, but, upon arrival at SFO, I accidentally left a backpack in the Delta Skyclub. I realized it after leaving airside while on my way to rental car. I tried to get in touch with skyclub via phone, and just couldn't get through (the Delta reservations line couldn't get a phone number for the skyclub). I continued to get my rental then drove and parked at the airport garage. I went to ticketing, and they sent me to baggage claim services. They were able to quickly call the skyclub and asked someone to bring it out to me -- I was able to describe it and state exactly where it was.

The baggage office told me that it would have been possible for them to get me back through security, but they really didn't want to do that, as it would have been a real hassle for everyone. Great service all around for a dumb thing I did!
