I'm here at the resort for a quick 2 night stay. Overall I'm impressed considering the price point. I've stayed at Secrets, Secrets Impression and Zilara all multiple times so Hyatt Vivid seems more casual than those others. Went to the French restaurant last night and while the food was good, there is definitely more selection and higher quality food at Secrets and other higher cost all inclusives. But you get what you pay for. Got a room upgrade using a SUA which will be expiring soon. Room and bed are nice but also more basic compared to Secrets properties. As others have mentioned, the hotel is already showing its age because of lower cost construction and cheaper materials being used. Service is friendly and well intentioned, but servers sometimes forget things, and service can be slow.
